The Sims Nybyggerne
Turning viewers into builders
"Nybyggerne" is a Danish TV show where four couples compete to build their dream homes, completing a new room each week.
To bring the show beyond the TV screen, I created an online competition in The Sims. I recreated the shell of the Nybyggerne house and made it available for viewers to download and decorate themselves alongside the couples on TV.
Using The Sims Gallery, participants could share their rooms each week with #TheSimsNybyggerne, with the best virtual home eventually crowned the winner.
