How do you explain a PhD in five minutes?
Together with PhD student Mads Lie, I turned complex research into a five-minute animated film about inflammatory bowel disease (IBD).
While Mads was responsible for the scientific content, I developed the visual concept, storyboard, animation and narrative flow — translating scientific findings into a story that was both engaging and easy to understand.
The film won first prize in the
JMS competition in 2025, securing a DKK 100,000 research grant for further IBD research.
