The Right Image

Turning an unconscious bias into a visible image

What if you could actually see your unconscious bias? That was the idea behind The Right Image, our response to a brief challenging employers to confront bias in the workplace.

We developed a digital tool that merges uploaded portraits into one collective face. The more your own features appeared in the final image, the more you could see how closely you aligned with the image you might unconsciously consider the “right” candidate.

By making bias visible, we aimed to turn an unconscious feeling into something people could recognize — and act on.

Our idea won gold in the Young Glory competition. See the case video below.

Gold winner, Young Glory, round 2, 2018/2019, professional category.
